Welcome!

The message that Jesus brought was never a condemning
one, or a set of beliefs to be adhered to under fear of
punishment. It was, rather, a message of individual freedom,
of each of us being a manifestation of Divinity itself, of love
actually being the center that holds all things together, and of
an invitation to recognize Divinity within all creation and
within other people as the source of an ever-more-happy life.
The Catholic Diocese of One Spirit tries to pay attention to
this beauty and to understand what it means, in order to bring
more meaning and joy into our own lives at every moment.
We are not pious, stiff, judgmental or demanding. We
support each other when we are down, and encourage each
other when things are going well.

The Catholic Diocese of One Spirit ("Catholic" here is used
in its earliest meaning: "universal") welcomes everyone, no
matter their denomination or religion. We meet as small
groups with no intentions of being giant mega-churches, and
we do not want to become impersonal. We are also into
many other forms of spirituality and spiritual structures
besides just Sunday morning services. We are looking for
ways to bring the attention of the 80% of the US population,
and higher percentages in other countries, to the
spirituality-within that they seek. We hope to present the
Jesus-Message in more relevant ways, and draw attention to
its life-giving beauty in contemporary circumstances.

Refreshing ~ Relevant ~ Positive ~ Spiritual

In our Sunday services, we celebrate with a Catholic Mass
(even if not Catholic, you will also probably find this
enriching). Ours is an "unstructured structured" service,
following the traditional format but eliminating the trappings
that no longer have any obvious meaning. We change texts
often and adapt to the theme of the day and the conditions
around us. We do not concentrate on condemnation of
anyone or anything, but rather we concentrate on how to pay
greater attention to the reality of God's presence within all
that is. Everyone, of any denomination, is welcome to
communion.

If you are interested in being a part of this new way to
experience the richness of Christianity, please join one of our
communities, join up with one of our priests, or form a
community of your own with you own ordained leadership.
You will not find us overly-rigorous or burdened with
life-draining rules, regulations, dogmas or litmus tests. We
seek to experience the God-life within, and we invite you to
try this out. It brings great joy!

Many Blessings!

Jim Burch
